The King: Work is good. The aspect of work and the benefits it provides, fiscally and otherwise. I get along with everyone, but there is a challenge. I'm now at odds with someone I work with. This person is toxic and sends red flags all over. I know her personally which is why I have such insight. But, I referred her. This is literally the meaning of making one's bed and having to lay in it. Our friendship ended because she cannot accept criticism on her unprofessional and attitude, furthermore she refuses to take accountability for any of the shit she causes or has caused. I had to take a mental day and a break away from her so that I can get my shit together and make sure my composure is solid. I want to continue professionally and I can do so and even be amicable, but I'm not interested in speaking with her in a friendship capacity. With the holidays approaching I was able to use some time today to procure some gifts. I have a sense of accomplishment from that. I do look forward to the New Year. This is the year we fix our finances.
The Warrior: I feel like the warrior in me is lethargic. This could have something to do with my totems... They're not all as active in the winter months. However I am interested in building gym visits into my routine, the finances need to stabilize first.
The Mage: I have made some connections with a local book club and looking for an introduction so that I can meet some of the local pagans here. One of my poly interests is pagan. I enjoy spending time with them. I don't know if our relationship will blossom to romance, but there's certainly some intimacy and an intense connection, spiritually speaking. I have made another connection with another pagan who has expressed a desire to learn. I have reached out to a past coven mate that I've maintained a solid relationship with. I'm hoping she will agree to work with me again and to build some thing new.
I performed the Housle for the first time in several years. It felt good to do it again. I could feel my spirit stir and strum that thread, letting dame fate I've returned. Auspiciously enough, the day prior to this ritual I was approached by this Hindu man who told me I need to worship Venus. This was only affirming to return to The Master, the Witch-father. I was still able to find my choice wine for the ritual. My joyfriend observed and we spent the rest of the evening cuddling, listening to music and chatting.
The Lover: Things seem to be going very well. Things are good, I feel, with my primary. We did a check in last night and it was good. Things with my Paramour are going well. She confessed her love to me for the first time ever. I don't want my primary to think this is a threat to our relationship, because it isn't. I've been with this paramour off and on for going on 5 years now. We've built a relationship through the years. I'm quite happy to learn they are making efforts to rebuild their friendship. Then there's my joyfriend. We're taking things slow and that's fine by me. I'm happy taking the time to get to know them.
I had a blues musician come into my work the other day to look for shirts and a jacket as he won a trip to head south. I decided to use my discount to help him out. He was grateful, but it was the talk I was grateful for. I feel the urge to return to music again. I am wanting to procure to tenor saxophone, preferably from a pawn shop, take a few lessons to get back up to speed and start playing horn again. Blues is a huge inspiration for me, would be nice to play them.
